Cash, Commission,
Or Both.

One rule runs the whole menu: the more you pay up front, the less we take on the back end. Check the arithmetic at every tier — it holds.

Short Answer

Maverick Talent offers three pricing tiers connected by one rule: the more a creator pays up front, the less is taken in commission. Pro is a full package paid up front with 0–5% commission. Hybrid is a reduced up-front cost plus light retainer at 10–15%. Partner is invite-only, costs nothing up front, and carries 20–25% commission. In every tier, commission applies only to revenue above the creator's baseline at signing — never to income they already had.

How Scouting Works
The Fine Print, In Plain English

How Commission
Actually Works

We only take a cut of growth

When you sign, we record your current monthly revenue across every monetized platform. That's your baseline. Commission applies only to revenue above that number.

If you were making $400 a month when you signed, we take our percentage of everything past $400 — not of the $400 you were already earning before we showed up. It's the fairest version of this arrangement we know how to write, and it means we only get paid when we've actually done something.

Lower rate on deals you source yourself

If a brand emails you directly and we just handle the negotiation and paperwork, our rate drops. You shouldn't pay a sourcing fee on something we didn't source. This mirrors how established agencies in this space structure it.

Commission ends

Every agreement has a defined term. After termination, commission on existing deals steps down on a published schedule and then stops entirely. Open-ended percentage claims on a creator's future income are a bad deal and we don't write them.

Development and representation are separate

Growing your channel and negotiating your brand deals are two different services with two different agreements. You can take one without the other, and the legal reasons for keeping them separate protect you as much as us.

Assets are yours

Logos, overlays, emotes, Discord configuration, source files — all yours from delivery. Walk away tomorrow and nothing switches off.

Under 18

Creators under eighteen require parental or guardian co-signature, and we cap terms more tightly. If money flows through us, it goes into trust accounting. This adds friction and we're keeping it.

Ranges, Not Quotes

The figures above are our published ranges. Your actual quote is set against real scope — how many platforms, how much editing volume, how much community management. The audit is what lets us price it honestly instead of guessing.

Questions

Common Questions

How much does creator management cost?

Maverick Talent publishes three tiers. Pro is a full package paid up front with commission of 0 to 5 percent. Hybrid is a reduced up-front cost with a light retainer and commission of 10 to 15 percent. Partner is invite-only with no up-front cost and commission of 20 to 25 percent. Published figures are ranges and actual quotes are set against scope.

What is creator management commission calculated on?

Only on revenue above the creator's monthly revenue recorded at signing. Income a creator was already earning before the engagement began is never commissioned.

Does the commission ever end?

Yes. Every agreement carries a defined term, and after termination commission on existing deals steps down on a published schedule and then stops entirely. There are no perpetual claims on future income.

Do I pay less on sponsorships I find myself?

Yes. Deals that come to the creator directly are commissioned at a lower rate than deals Maverick sources, because a sourcing fee should not apply to sourcing that did not happen.

Who owns the logos and overlays?

The creator, from delivery, including source files. If the engagement ends the creator keeps everything and nothing stops working.
