Most of the creators we back, we found. We watch small channels doing something right and invest in them before anyone else has noticed — we pay for the build, you pay in upside.
Maverick Talent's scouting program identifies creators worth backing and funds their entire build at no up-front cost, taking a share of the growth that results. Criteria are weighted toward microphone presence, clip-ability, audience retention over raw reach, consistency, coachability, and durability. Mechanical skill at the game itself is weighted heavily for esports profiles and only lightly for streaming profiles — it is close to the least predictive factor for streaming growth.
This is the thing people get wrong most often. Mechanical skill matters enormously in esports and surprisingly little in streaming.
We have watched a lot of extremely skilled players stay at four viewers for two years, and a lot of mediocre ones build real audiences. The variables that separate them are consistent, and almost none of them are about the game.
If you are competing rather than entertaining, that is a different profile entirely — and a different conversation.
Are you entertaining while you play? The single biggest factor, and largely unteachable.
Do moments happen that cut cleanly into thirty seconds? That is the entire growth engine.
Forty people who show up every stream beat four thousand who followed once and left.
Will you still be streaming four nights a week in two years? Most will not.
We are going to tell you things you do not want to hear. That has to land.
This grind breaks people. Honest self-assessment here matters more than talent.
Before this was a division, we were already running gaming communities. We still run them.
That matters for one practical reason: we are not a marketing company that decided the creator economy looked lucrative. We are in the rooms where this actually happens, watching the same people you would be competing with, every week.
These are ours — same company, same people. Not sponsorships, not partnerships. Joining is not a requirement for working with us and does not affect roster consideration.

Roleplay servers are among the most streamer-dense environments in gaming. We see channels here early.

Join the Discord ↗Partner tier is an investment, not a service purchase. We spend real money and real hours building you out, with no guarantee any of it works. Most scouted creators will not break through — that is the nature of a portfolio bet, and we price it accordingly.
A percentage of revenue above your baseline at signing — meaning the money you were already making stays entirely yours. Our share applies only to growth, for a capped term, with a published sunset schedule after termination.
A large share of promising gaming talent is between sixteen and nineteen. We will still talk to you, but a parent or guardian is involved from the first conversation, terms are capped more tightly, and any money flowing through us goes into trust accounting.
This is slower and more paperwork. It is also the only responsible way to do it, and we would rather lose a signing than cut that corner.
Technically Partner tier is invite-only — we reach out, not the other way around. But if you think you fit the criteria above, submit an audit request and say so. We read everything, and the audit tells us most of what we need to know anyway.
Microphone presence and entertainment value while playing, clip-ability, audience retention rather than raw follower count, consistency over time, coachability, and emotional durability. Mechanical skill at the game matters heavily for esports profiles and only lightly for streaming profiles.
Far less than most people assume. Elite mechanical skill is close to the least predictive factor for streaming growth, though it matters enormously for competitive esports. Entertainment value while playing is the stronger predictor.
Complete identity and brand build, Discord architecture, ongoing content pipeline including clipping and vertical distribution, strategy and monthly review, and monetization readiness. Maverick funds all of it and the creator pays nothing up front.
The Partner tier is invite-only and Maverick reaches out rather than accepting applications, but creators who believe they fit the criteria can submit an audit request and say so. The audit surfaces most of what the scouting decision depends on.
No. There is no roster fee, no pay-to-join, and no upfront charge to be considered. Any organisation in this industry charging creators to be represented should be treated with suspicion.
Free, no commitment, and if we're not the right fit we'll tell you that instead of pitching you.
